CozmoTV Channels

CozmoTV channels come in two basic flavors, search-generated and user-generated. Search-generated channels are created on the fly when you type in a query at the top of the CozmoTV application. Shows are ordered based on relevance to your search term and your individual preferences. The higher your Rating Confidence, the better our algorithm can be in determining a channel lineup that is best for you.

The second type of channel is one in which the lineup is determined by a member. Channels can be about a specific topic, like spelunking, or general interest, such as a playlist of favorite YouTube videos. Creating a CozmoTV Channel is easy. You simply title the channel, write a brief description, post a picture, and you’re done. Then, as you move around CozmoTV, you can simply add any show you would like to any channel you’ve created. Members can own and manage as many channels as they would like.

Channels can be watched by anyone at www.cozmo.tv, or members can package up several channels into a portable widget and embed that widget in a social network, blog, or start page. Over the next few months, CozmoTV will add more sources (like MySpace and Google Video) and more widget destinations (like Typepad and Wordpress). We’ll also begin sharing advertising and premium channel revenue with all affiliates once CozmoTV reaches critical mass.
